E-ticketing device tested for traffic law offenders

City police will pilot a list giving out tickets to traffic law violators by using a mobile electronic device called E-ticket

The pilot project will be manage in certain areas of Bangkok, starting at the end of this month. The E-ticketing device can print a ticket on the spot sp traffic police don’t need to write out a tricketPharnu Kerdlarpphon,the deputy chief of the metropolitan police bureau supervising traffic.

The E-tricked device will be link to the royal Thai police's database.

All information on every ticket issued will be put in to the system where police stations can gain access to it .

Drivers who are gave a ticket for break traffic rule will be able to get ticket paid at any police station.

The place, data and time of the traffic law violation will show on the new-look ticket.

For a driver who hold a electronic driving licence,the police will put through the devisal drive's information will show on the device screen.

The E-ticketing device will allow offices to check with the police database to see if vehicles they have stopped have been reported as stolen or car carrying a fake license plate. The computer will return a result just half a minute.

The trial will be evaluated to decide if the ticketing device should replace manual ticketing in all areas of the capital.

Fainally,Thai police will change from pen and paper to an electronic device. It is a very good idea to do, it will help police offices a lot and save a lot of time as well. Police officer can be able to check and put information in a database instantly. What a great idea!!
