Thailand ready for rail talks with China

Thai and China ready to talks in this mouth on plan to jointly invest in Thailand about rail link and high speed train Project.

Konrdsak Sadhavasu,secretary-genneral to Prime minister Abhisit Vejjajiva,yesterday subcommitteess start to work out and study for the project.

The Thai government wants to invest with China high-Speed rail line from Suvarnabhumi airport to Rayong.On the Eastern side from Pattaya and Laem Chabang,and standard line will start from China through Vietnam, Laos and Nong Khai in Thailand 's northeast to connect with Malaysia and Singapore.

A new standard-gauge rail line frome Nong Khai to Malaysia will cost around 300 billion baht.

The line would connect at Nong Khai to a link in China plans to build in Vietnam and Laos as well.

Mr.Korbsak said the high-speed rail project from Suvarnabhumi and Raying was cost around 30 billion baht.

Offcials from the two countries are needed to complete a draft to understanding ahead of Mr. Abhisit's visit to China in the early of next month

The new rail line will give benefit of travel in Thailand, the tourism industry would benefit greatly from the new rail link train network

Mr. Korbsak said. the 1000 Km line in Thailand world be developed along to state Railway of Thailand track and would take three years to build.

Trains on a new rail would run about 200Km per hour compared with SRT average of 60Km/h.

Mr.Korbsak said a feasibility study for high-speed train train from Bangkok to Paying would go ahead even if Thailand failed to sign a deal with China.

I strong agree with this news, it will help Thailand economy grow up and it will help transport as well. In my opinion Thai will gain a lot of benefit from this project, because traveler can go to another place faster and cheaper in a long distant transport
